About Alison Hansen

I'm Alison Hansen, a fashion illustrator based in the UK.   I originally trained at the University of Westminster in London and I have over 15 years of fashion illustration experience working in both the UK and the USA markets.

 

 I work mainly in pen and ink and watercolours. Visual inspiration comes from my interest in movies, travel, 20th Century fashion illustrators and photographers, historical style icons and the couturiers of the 1950s and 60s. I also have a love of mid 20th century product design which I try to include in my illustration work.

 

My past clients include Harrods, Selfridges, Elie Saab, Juicy Couture, The Telegraph, Oasis, Reiss, Dorothy Perkins, Folli Follie, Ultimo, Bravissimo, Missoni/FAD, Links, BBC, Carven, La Redoute, Marks and Spencer, V and A Museam, Brides Magazine, Staedtler, Wella, Simply Be, Walter and Herbert, and Beauty Bay amongst others.
